Technical Assistance

Local governments will have an opportunity to receive technical assistance in strengthening policies and regulations in order to achieve locally desired results. Participation by municipalities is voluntary and is aimed at protecting water quality, open space and a viable farming industry.
 
This project is being conducted by the Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board and the Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology, with assistance from the Cayuga County Planning Department and others. Funding for this project was secured by United States Congressman James T. Walsh.
